These cute and useful pincushions, worked in a variety of tonal color palettes, are shaped with short rows and topped with a matching button.

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Finished diameter approx 6"/15cm
Finished height approx 3"/7.5cm

MATERIALS
Small amounts (approx 12yd/12m) from 3½oz/100g skeins (each approx 220yd/201m) of Deluxe Worsted (100% wool) in each of 4 colors

Colorway 1 (corals):
#12256 tangerine flash (A), #13001 autumn orange (B), #3620 coral (C), and #91468 sunkist coral (D)

Colorway 2 (greens):
#12507 shamrock heather(A), #12285 cactus (B), #61633 greenery (C), and #12224 chartreuse olive (D)

Colorway 3 (blues):
#71662 turquoise (A), #12176 teal viper (B), #3669 Caribbean sea, and #12279 blue lagoon (D)
One pair size 2 (2.75mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Two 7⁄8"/22mm buttons in coordinating colors for each pincushion
1-quart ziplock bag for each pincushion
1⁄3 quart of sawdust (or other stuffing material) for stuffing
Sharp darning needle
