Stained Glass Sweater

This ornate sweater is sure to turn heads and impress everyone at the next fiber festival. Breathtaking motifs travel across the entirety of this sweater, but numerous colors are made easily thanks to our self-shading Colorburst yarn. Paired with a bold contrast color in Deluxe DK Superwash, the two yarns are a match made in colorwork heaven.

Universal Yarn Colorburst (65% superwash fine merino, 35% acrylic; 200g/660 yds)
• 114 Sunset (MC) – 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) ball(s)
Universal Yarn Deluxe DK Superwash (100% superwash wool; 100g/284 yds)
• 863 Phantom Heather (CC) – 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5, 6) balls
Needles: US Sizes 6 (4 mm) & 4 (3.5 mm): 16”, 24”, 32” circular; set of dpns DPNs (or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences) or sizes needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn

Gauge
22 sts x 26 rows = 4” in stranded knitting with larger needle
28 sts x 28 rows = 4” in K1, P1 Ribbing with smaller needle, unstretched

PATTERN NOTES
This sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Colors are changed using the stranded method of knitting. Hold both colors throughout the round and change colors as indicated in the charts.
