Beautiful traveling stitches create the dramatic diagonal lines that decorate Verdigris, a cozy shawl to wrap comfortably around your shoulders. The asymmetry of this triangular shawl gives it a modern shape that is an absolute joy to knit. Worked in Deluxe Worsted Tweed Superwash, this piece is warm, woolly, and a quick knit.

Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted Tweed Superwash (90% superwash wool, 7% acrylic, 3% viscose; 100g/218 yds)
905 Pine – 4 balls
Needle: US Size 8 (5 mm) 24” circular or longer (to accommodate large number of sts) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle (cn)

18 sts x 24 rows = 4” in Shawl Body patt

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl begins at the tip with just two stitches. After the beginning tip is complete, increases will occur on each side of the center cable. On the right side of the cable, one stitch will be increased every 4 rows. On the left side of the cable, one stitch will be increased every 8 rows.
