This poncho is knit flat in a garter stitch mosaic pattern with a plain garter border on the bottom and top and then folded and seamed to create armholes. The front neck split is created when knitting by binding off stitches and knitting two separate front sections.
Sabal is available as part of e-book Modern Mosaic, and as an individual pattern through Ravelry.
