With classic cables and lace worked flat across its surface, this poncho is rewarding to make, and comfortable and stylish to wear. In Deluxe Chunky 100% wool, it’s a perfectly gratifying cool-weather project!

Small/Medium (Large/1X, 2X/3X)
Shown in Small/Medium size. Poncho is intended to be oversized.

Width: 35½ (37¾, 40¼)”

MATERIALS
Universal Yarn Deluxe Chunky (100% wool; 100g/120 yds)
• 13206 Lichen – 7 (8, 8) hanks
Needles: US Size 10 (6 mm) 36” circular or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 9 (5.5 mm) 36” circular
Notions: Tapestry needle, cable needle (cn), stitch markers, stitch holders, 4 1½” toggle buttons

GAUGE
14 sts x 18 rows = 4” in St st using larger ndl
17 sts x 20 rows = 4” in Mock Eyelet Ribbing using smaller ndl
49 st Center Panel = 11½” wide using larger ndl
